FAQ's
What year groups benefit most?
Schools use the 'approach to learning' report and 'student feedback' to help make decisions for GCSE subjects at the end of year 9; for A-Level and other FE course decisions at the end of year 11.
Colleges use the 'Personal Statement' report for UCAS applications beginning of year 12.
Careers advisors use the 'world of work' report to help guidance for work experience placements and looking at next steps with the students (entry into employment).

Do you improve self esteem?
Yes, our information helps students increase their sense of self awareness and confidence. Clearly, this is an individual journey and whilst some may appear ‘self aware’ or more comfortable with their identity others may prefer to internalise the experience.
We believe that our programme is a positive process for each student. It offers them, a supportive, non judgemental language to describe themselves, their strengths and qualities. They can then start to use this language to focus on their key motivators, their approach to learning and what they have to offer the world.

What about inspections?
Our programme creates an auditable process for ISI and Ofsted inspections. Each stage of the programme, you can show a clear input and output, with measurable factors for both students and teachers.
Our programme is a practical process that can be verified by inspectors.
Inspectors can question students and teachers of the benefits gained from commitment to the programme and also by documentary evidence through the student and teacher reports.
A positive outcome is enabled through the ILPs that were informed by the reports.

How long have you been established?
We have been working with schools and colleges in the UK for over 5 years.
The 'talking to crocodiles' programme was designed for use in 14-19 education, in order to fill a need in the educational sector. We were approached to provide support with the personalised learning agenda by local head teachers in Derby, whilst operating as a coaching consultancy with technical behavioural and learning style expertise. We have over 25 years of behavioural assessment experience that informs our programme. We bring this considerable experience and knowledge and make it relevant to education.
Back to questions
Can you save me time?
Yes. Our programme is created for students, tutors and teachers. We allow each student to develop to their maximum potential. The difficult questions we answer are:
What is this student’s potential?
How do I recognise their major working strengths and motivations?
How do I communicate this knowledge with empathy and enthusiasm?
We deliver information which addresses the above questions. We do this by inviting teachers and tutors to explore the unique requirements and approach to learning of each student. This means that they focus quickly on the learning and working strengths of each individual.
We provide information to form the basis of an individual action plan, with clearer communication and an emphasis on improved performance. Thus significantly reducing the usual time it takes to 'know them well'.
